Powerful Tools for Caregivers

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is an educational program designed to help care-partners take care of themselves so that they may take better care of their friend or relative. The 6-week class helps you reduce stress, improve self confidence, communicate your feelings better, balance your life, increase your ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources. This class is open to care-partners of someone with any chronic condition. Respite care is available.

Savvy Caregiver

Join us for the Savvy Caregiver program! Savvy Caregiver is a 6 week-long program designed to train caregivers. This intensive course focuses on helping caregivers develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry out their role with confidence. The Savvy Caregiver program focuses on the “how to” of taking on, doing, and succeeding in the daily work of caregiving. This course will help you learn things such designing daily activities for your loved one, strategies for strengthening the family as a caregiving resource, decision making skills and much more!

Dealing with Dementia

Dealing with Dementia is a four hour course that focuses on:

Understanding Dementia
Managing Problem Behaviors
Handling Stress, and Finding Time for You
